Victoria Series Salvia (Salvia farinacea) offers a bold twist on classic lavender with 8" spikes of white or lavender blooms atop upright, bushy 18–20" plants. A mealy cup sage native to Texas and Mexico, this variety is prized for thriving in hot, humid climates where other blooms struggle. Best started indoors 10–12 weeks before the last frost, seeds germinate in 14–21 days with full light. Transplant seedlings to containers or well-drained garden beds with 12" spacing. Victoria Series tolerates some drought but prefers moist soil and benefits from direct watering to prevent mildew. Ideal for borders, containers, or bouquets. Matures in 98–112 days and produces ~29,000 seeds per oz. A beautiful choice for heat-loving gardens and floral displays.
