Received my desk without any damages due to shipping
I purchased 2 items from another Supplier and both of these items arrived damaged due to flimsy packaging. I was able to salvage on item ( a writing table), but the damage was so extensive on the desk I had to send it back. So, this is why I ordered the computer desk from Jet.com. The packaging was excellent and not one part was damaged or scratched in shipment. Very pleased with this. However, there were some difficulties with the drawers. The slides seem to be very low quality. The drawers do not line up properly and they are noisy. The Center Drawer it the one I had the most difficulty with. The hinge did not match up with the mitered indents and the pilot holes did not line up properly. Also, the ball bearings fell out of the left slide. I had to call for a replacement. I did receive the replacement and was able to get that issue resolved. For these reasons I would just stay clear of any furniture such as this that has to be assembled.
