You Have to See This - Really Impressive

Instructions are poorly translated from Chinese and are missing several important steps.

Beautiful clock, but metal was bent

This is a beautiful timepiece for a large wall. My only complaint is that some of the metal was bent after removing from box. I just used some pliers to straighten out versus the hassle of shipping this large item back. No one would ever know it was bent, but disappointed knowing how much the item cost that any repairs were necessary straight from the box. Also, the center timepiece's hands are a bit flimsy. Once fixed it looks amazing on my wall and am sure we will receive many compliments.

Gorgeous but.. Bad Execution & SERVICE

I just received this gorgeous clock and there were 4 things wrong with it. 1st, some of the numbers on the clock were completely scraped up so you could see the original paint beneath it. 2nd, there were 12 pieces (nuts) missing from the hardware so I needed to make a [@] run and purchase them separately. 3rd, the center piece, the hands of the clock were broken, not just bent, which apparently is normal, but broken. 4th, the instructions were a joke. It wasn't rocket-science, but they were still missing steps and it was poorly translated. I really wanted to make this clock work for me, so I overlooked 3 problems and called Hayneedle and asked for a replacement centerpiece, the hands of the clock, so I could at least get the clock working. They would NOT. They very nicely told me that I could either return this 5 ft clock back to them; meaning, break down the entire clock, and somehow stuff it back into the box, ship it back, wait until they receive it, wait until they processed the return, wait until my CC processes their credit, and THEN re-purchase the item all over again OR they could CHARGE ME ANOTHER $481.00 to send me another clock until they received my first one where they could begin the process to refund my 1st order. That's $962 out of my pocket while I'm without a clock and waiting on them to process and figure out to manage this situation. Good business practice? I don't think so. I'm done with Hayneedle.
