About TACO
“In 1959, TACO Metals Founder Dave Kushner took a small Miami-based aluminum railing fabrication company and grew it into an established metal and marine manufacturing full-service enterprise with more than 110 employees today. In the early 1970s, TACO Metals entered the marine market as South Florida became known as a mecca for the recreational marine industry. We recognized a market and became quickly identified as a primary source supplier for the marine industry. We attribute our success over the past 61 years to developing a strong supply chain, which includes valued partnerships with our suppliers and customers – boat builders, marine fabricators, distributors, and dealers. Over the years, TACO grew to include regional warehouses throughout Florida, Tennessee and South Carolina while also expanding its company into international markets. Additionally, Dave’s three sons, Jon, Mike, and Bill, followed in their father’s footsteps and led TACO after he retired in the early 90s.
