it is not slip resistant, and felt for.material is a bad idea for a matt ! i bought 2 , i was sold on the art, when i bought them i needed them ! but am not keen on the material for a matt !And for the price, it should have been a little bit more durable, felt is not a durable material. it was my fault for not reading the specifics ! Instructions says do not clean with sudsy substance, its a matt your gonna need to clean it properly sometimes, but you can not !
