Excellent ceiling fan!
I have this fixture in two of my bedrooms, including the master which has the extension pole on it. I love it so much and now my fiance has it in his master bedroom. Very reliable and quiet. Love the remote to control fan speed and the light!

Works Well; BUT!
The fan works well, but why a wall mount control vs a remote control? Big bummer. Next I have installed 4 or 5 fans in the past. No doubt the SOLA is engineered well, but not engineered for easy installation. Shoving the wire assembly into place while mounting the motor assembling. Get real. After hanging the blades I wanted to test the system before installing the lights. Could not get the blades to turn. After getting a return merchandise authorization I rechecked the connections and all the wires proved to be hot. So I thought what the heck. Connected installed the lights and everything worked. I want to test early and not wait until final assembly. At least put a note in the installation manual. Anyway, its done, and now I have a great fan.

Cool Fan with a Mind Of Its Own
This fan is beautiful and perfect for a small space. Its round shape is very distinctive, very cool. The only problem with mine is that it turns itself on randomly throughout the day! It was installed by an electrician who sees no problem with the wiring. Is this a common issue with this fan?
