Disappointment

I love the look of this faucet and bought 2 for master bath. They've been in use less than 2 years and I had to call plumber out because diminishing water pressure in one sink and finally no water at all. Plumber said it's calcium buildup. Second fixture is doing same but still has a little water coming out. We live in Austin with not particularly hard water. No other fixtures in our home are having this issue, even those getting much more use. Also, something is wrong with the handle. It squeaks when you turn it and is getting harder and harder to turn. I suspect a rubber washer or something is dislodged and is getting more and more twisted where the handle pivots.

reply from Supplier Response

gwen006, thank you for your review. We apologize for the inconvenience that you experienced. With the issues described it is related to you water conditions. It sounds like calcium deposits have collected in the aerator and reduced the flow. You may notice this in the other faucets because these models use less water than most and have smaller holes in the aerator. Also, for the squeaking handle that would be because of the cartridge. We would be happy to assist you. Please contact us directly through the American Standard website "Contact Us" located at the bottom of our home page so we can assist you. Sincerely, American Standard Tech Team
