THE NORTH FACE Women's Bridgeway Zip-Off Pant Wild Ginger 16

I bought these zip offs in black 2yrs ago and have worn them throughout my travels in the World. I need to buy another pair but are no longer in stock.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am currently living in the rainforest located in Northern Queensland for a three month field study, where mosquito's, nats, and all sorts of bugs live and thrive. I only bought one pair of these pants for the trip, and I honestly wish I got myself two! Ive never been bitten wearing these, and they do a very good job at keeping the mud and critters away from my skin. Not only that, but the fabric is super breathable and does a very good job at protecting me from the sun, especially considering the ozone hole above Australia. I wouldn't call the pants waterproof necessarily, but even then they've done a fairly good job at keeping me dry and would be totally solid with some DWR spray or other waterproofing agent. And on a less technical note, the pants in general are very cute and stylish for hiking gear, and fit my curves very well and comfortably. I definitely suggest these pants for my fellow science buddies, or even those just looking for some cute and comfy hiking pants!
