Probably good for small kids, not for larger ones

We bought this to use as a stroller and bike trailer for our 4 year old who is disabled, so she could go on bike rides/walks with the family. She is tall but thin & was extremely uncomfortable in this trailer, even just by herself. There is really no leg room at all for a larger child. If you look at the picture, you can see how the nylon seat comes down in the middle of the trailer. There is really no way to move it back. If they had allowed for reclining or put the seat back further, it would have worked much better. There is a ton of storage space, so if you have small children and you need lots of storage space, then this might work for you, but for us, I would have preferred less storage space and more leg room. Someone reviewed it and said their 6 yr old & another child fit and I can't imagine how that could possibly be true. There is no way I can see that happening. Additionally, the straps were very uncomfortable for my daughter. We returned it and are now looking for one with more leg room.

First I am by no means a distant biker. Maybe 6-10 miles is our max. I have a very large 2 year old (size of a 5 year old boy) and a very thin petit 2 year old. They seem to fit fine inside. The straps are not the best maybe they could have done something a little better with them but they do the trick. Maybe I am a bad mom but i didn't force them to wear helmets. First time they went in they were a bit confused, but they seemed to like it. It was a piece of cake to put together and ten fact that it turns into a stroller with a large storage area is a plus. We were clueless on these trailers and initially bought the Instep something that started with a "P." before we even completely put it together we realized it was junk. Went back and got this one and we are very pleased. Unless your a professional biker or plan on going 23 miles with the kids, I say this is perfect. I would even dare go 15 miles but after that not so much. Hope this helpful for you soon to be double biking moms and dads.

Walmart associate

My husband and I looked around for a bike trailer that could turn into a stroller...we read many, many reviews but couldnt decide on one. Then we found this on sale at our local Walmart, bought it and havent regretted a minute of it. We have now had this for over 2 years and its been beat up and tossed around and it just takes the beating. Its been through a couple tropical storms (we are in SWF) and sat out in the sun and the only thing wrong with it after all the years of use is that the windows are foggy (I could probably clean them but havent) and the color is a smidge faded. We have taken this to Busch Gardens as well as the beach (pull it rather than push it and it goes through sand like no ones business). We have ridden our bikes places and then taken it off the bikes and used it as a stroller. It has a nice area in the back that holds lots and lots of things (think kid gear and mommy gear)....it also holds my 6 and 3 year old as well as all our stuff. We just had another baby so we plan on buying another one of these to fit our family! I cant say enough good things about this trailer!!!!

This is a good product, it is easy to carry on, lightweight and easy to assemble, but: - It is not as "foldable" as it seems, you have to disassemble the handle and the 3rd wheel and remove part of the canopy to fold it. - As it is made of aluminun, it won´t stand mild falls (the upper bars bend easily ). - I would suggest a plastic rigid bottom because once the child is in, the fabric supporting the child´s weight tends to sag.

After a long search for a bike trailer for our daughter, we decided to give this one a try because of the value. We thought that like with most things we get from Wal-Mart, it might not be the best but it could definitely make do and can't be too much worse than a higher end one. We were somewhat pleased with it at first, as we didn't really have anything to compare it to other than online reviews, but we quickly realized that it just wasn't going to cut it for our needs. Our daughter seemed so uncomfortable in it, we had to lift up the bottom in order to hook the seat belt in, and the ones that went around her arms left horrible marks on her. Half-way through a 23-mile bike ride to a picnic, she wouldn't stop fussing, so we had to take her helmet off (no room for it in the back so she pretty much had to hang her head down), and only keep the bottom buckles on her but leave her top undone which made me very uneasy...but it was the only way we could survive the rest of the ride so she would stop crying. And when she finally goes to sleep in it, she is in such an awkward position, it breaks my heart! Also, the wheels were wobbly to begin with, and got worse as time went on. After that 45-mile ride, we knew we had to return it. It may be okay for an occasional short ride, but it was definitely not ok for our needs, and it wasn't comfortable for the most important person--our daughter. It went back to the store, and for just a little more money, we bought a used Burley from Craigslist that has SO many more features, and it super comfortable for her. So I'd say you're probably better off getting a better used one than spending full price on this. And I think the main thing to look for is NOT to have a hammock seat, and to have padded shoulder straps for the child!!
