  • 1st stage: polypropylene filter to remove dust, particles, and rust. Prevent sediment from building up and clogging the filters and the system. Recommend changing every 6-12 months. 
  • 2nd and 3rd stage: extruded carbon block filter to remove chlorine, taste & odor at a fast flow rate. Improve water taste, protect the life of the RO membrane and enjoy chlorine free water. Recommend changing every 6-12 months.

Good Filters

When replacing the filters after 1 year of use, it was clear that they did a lot of work in that timeframe. Sediment filter was absolutely disgusting and there was residue on the walls of its housing. Second stage housing was a bit cleaned and third stage housing was pretty clean, which means that water was a lot cleaner by the time it got to the RO membrane.

Have had the system for just about a year. Two adults using the water and we just replaced stages 1-3. The water quality seems excellent. ( However, I would suggest having an agile person do the installation and replacement of filters. You have to work down on the floor if it is installed under the kitchen sink!)
