Great Bed: Be Careful During Assembly
Overall, this is a great bed, esp. for such an affordable price. It looks as portrayed in the pictures. The wood/veneer finish is nice & smooth with no visible flaws. The rattan is tightly stretched and securely attached. It is a solid bed with no squeaks or noises when you lay on the mattress. Overall this is a GREAT bed and I do recommend, but there were some assembly challenges. For someone who is pretty good at assembly projects, I found the assembly process extremely frustrating. The first thing you will notice is the parts do not have label stickers on them, which at first didn't seem like a big deal...but it is. Pay careful attention when you attach support bars D and E to the headboard support C in step 6. If you install them on the wrong side you will not realize it until you get to Step 10, forcing you to undo everything you just accomplished. If you stare at the instructions with this in mind you will be fine. I also added additional wood screws to the slats.
