All You Need

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This laptop is all you need. I use it mostly for work and home use and play games with it only occasionally and then only at a very casual level. But it does everything I need and can play any game I want without breaking a sweat. Fit and finish is fine. It's got the cool LED keyboard if that's important to you. I wish it had a second Ctrl button to the right of the spacebar instead of the Co-Pilot button but that's really the only complaint I have. I chose it over a ThinkPad because I feel I'm getting better internals and performance for the price at the sacrifice of some of the physical durability that the ThinkPads are famous for. But I take pretty good care of my stuff so I'm not too concerned about that. My wife has a Legion Pro 5i from 2023 with the 300 nit screen and you can definitely see the difference. It isn't life altering, but it is certainly noticeable. It is replacing a Y740 that lasted for almost five years of heavy daily use before the lid hinge physically broke (the epoxy holding the hinge to the main body let go). But that computer still functions pretty well. I put one of those cheap (under $25) USB powered laptop pads under this one so it sits up off the table a little and at a slight angle but I did that mainly to keep all the dog hair out of the fans. After about a month of moderate use I am very happy with the purchase.
