Food consumption may vary during gestation, so feed the amount needed to maintain the pregnant female’s good body condition. Food intake may double or even quadruple during lactation. FEEDING TIP Changes in your pet’s diet should be made gradually to allow your pet to become accustomed to a new food. Substitute small amounts of the new food for the old food, gradually increasing the amount of the new food while decreasing the old food, over a period of 7 - 10 days. I'm giving this cat food 5 stars because my cat really seems to like it, always, any flavor. He doesn't get tired of it. I buy the 3 pounds bags because I want to save money while keeping the cat food fresh. He's never turned his nose up to Fancy Feast dry cat food, any of the flavors. I've bought some of those dry cat food brands that are supposed to be good for cats, and he hasn't liked them so much.
