E308L-16 stainless steel electrodes provide reliable performance for welding AISI 301, 302, 304, and 308 stainless steel. With a lime titania type covering, these rods ensure stable arc performance and smooth weld bead appearance. They offer excellent welding efficiency due to a high deposition rate, making them ideal for both professional and industrial applications. These electrodes can be used in all positions (flat, vertical, horizontal, and overhead) with both AC and DC(+) power sources. Preheating is generally not required, but electrodes should be redried at 250-350°C for 30-60 minutes before use. Available in multiple size and weight options, these welding rods are suitable for a variety of fabrication and repair tasks.
