The instructions are clear. The finish is good, it's a pretty unit. I bought it to install solar panels on it, however, it will not take much load in it at all, I had to install a sub-structure of 2x3 metal channels and 2x2 rails underneath that are attached to the 2 middle legs on the outer side. Those are then attached to the wall of the building it sits against, then 2×2 steel cubes run the length of the unit to add support.my husband can weld and was able to "beef up" this unit or we could not use it for the solar we bought it for. My husband didn't like that the manufacturer lined up all the seams of the cross braces because it lined all them up causing a weak spot, he said they should've staggered the connection joints to add stability and strength. With his upgrades, it's now a strong and pretty unit we can mount our solar on.
