I must have had the squeakiest automatic garage door in Texas. After applying this grease to all the hinges and wheel rods/axles, the squeaking stopped . . . completely. Now I can access my garage without waking up the neighbors. This grease has a strong smell that lingers for a few days, so I wouldn't necessarily recommend using a lot of it inside your home.

Garage door repairman recommended white litium grease for our overhead door. Walmart stopped carrying the WD40 brand, so I bought this one. I seems to work just as well. We've been in our house for 11 years and only had a problem with the garage door once.
