Packed extremely well to survive the shipping ordeal. Absolutely no damage to product and all parts accounted for. Not actually easy to assemble but follow instructions and you will have no problems. Assembled units are much sturdier than expected and should last longer than anticipated. Still can't believe they got two chairs packed in the one carton and arrived with absolutely no damage issues.
