Always have to reset mode

These lights do not maintain the last setting when power returns at dusk. Relapses to initial setting which is crazy psychedelic blinking. You have literally reset each string to the pattern you want. There is no remote control. Would not recommend unless you want to go out in all types of weather to reset each string.
