I enjoy the easy and multitasking this slicer can do. It cuts meats, cheeses and even slices my sourdough bread to perfection. It's slicing a ability to be used for so many items. It even sliced a fruitcake without tearing the fruitcake to bits. It's quite lightweight for carrying around. The little suction cups really holds the machine in place. The washing and clean up is terrific. The slicing plate is sufficient for length of items you're slicing. Oh and another great thing it comes with 3 blades.

I sure lucked out with this one!

Having worked in a Walmart deli for over 3yrs, slicing various meats and cheeses on pro slicers, I can honestly say that this little slicer is Awesome for home. There are 2 sizes of motors and I bought the smaller version…it's Great! I sliced up a 6lb sirloin tip roast for Italian beef sandwiches; Perfect!!! You can set the size for the slice and boom!! Beautiful thinly sliced beef roast! I even sliced jalapeños and celery for my homemade gardinera! I set the thickness for them as paper thin. That motor is a workhorse! So maybe next time I'll slice carrots lol. Buy this one folks! You Will Love it!

it's a great slicer for the money, glad i got it

i bought this slicer because i got tired of paying @ $7 a jar for a few ounces of dried beef (we are a creamed chipped beef eating family). so instead i ordered 2 3lb hunks of dried beef. the slicer made short work of slicing up my first chunk. reasons i like this slicer - i was able to get it in red, my preferred kitchen appliance color. the price was great. it was very easy to use, and extremely easy to clean up. 250w is a bit more power than others that i looked at when trying to choose. it came with one smooth and 2 serrated blades. that second blade is a plus, i don't think i saw another slicer that included 2 serrated blades. i think there was an instruction book, but it was easy enough to figure out. also included was a small tray to catch the food as it is sliced. i say it's small but it's actually a very convenient size, and i think it will come in handy for other uses as well. i could go on, but i would just be saying over and over how pleased i am with this slicer. i rated the quality as 4 rather than 5 because i just got it and only time will tell if it's going to last. but i am confident that it probably will.
