Chester Cain, professional gambler and gunman, is on vacation. Or so he thinks. The Paradise Palms welcomes him with open arms. They even provide female company, the lovely Claire Wonderly. But that night Cain is set up. The political opponent of Killeano, town bigwig, is found murdered in Cain's hotel room-and Cain's the fall guy. Cain doesn't take well to being framed, and he goes on the run with Miss Wonderly. Soon he finds that the entire city is out for his hide. Killeano's got his sadistic police chief on his tail, with a promise of an unpleasant death if he's caught. But they picked the wrong fall guy.
