The rug is a true mauve, matches the "Cinammon Slate" color from Benjamin Moore. The rug is wool and thick. Does not need a rug pad. It sheds a little, but is good quality.

Vibe I wanted but could be softer for the price

I got the “brown”. It really is so hard to capture the color on camera. Someone else described it as a “plum brown” and that’s the vibe I wanted anyway. I’d say it’s like a faded eggplant. It’s very scratchy. Not very soft but I don’t spend a ton of time laying on my floor so I’m not worried about that. I do see that it will shed a bit but my old rug did too so again, personally, I’m not worried about it. But it is something to consider. I’ve tried to attach as many photos as possible to give the best idea of the color as possible for the next person. Over all I like the color and vibe of the rug. Do I think there’s better quality, softer rugs for a lower price? Yes. But I’m content with my purchase.
