Key item features

After scrapping an unreleased third album they had worked on for 18 months, the Scissor Sisters took a break, with singer Jake Shears heading to Berlin. Getting the inspiration he needed after a couple months on the city's club circuit, Shears returned with the "blissfully sinister" songs that would become Night Work. The band has proudly announced that the album is as "supersexual and sleazy" as its Robert Mapplethorpe cover art. ~ David Jeffries, Rovi

Naughty Fun

After a luke warm follow-up to their delightfully provocative debut album, the Scissor Sisters allowed Stuart Price, the man behind Madonna's "Confession of a Dancefloor", to help the Sisters hit the dancefloor and the end result is an evelated version what they have already done. Although there isn't a single ballad on "Night Work", it frees the Scissor Sisters to let loose, get wild, and create an atmosphere where anything is fair game. If you're looking for an album to shock you and rock you, "Night Work" will exceed all expectations. Favorite Tracks: Any Which Way, Skin Tight, Night Life
