Price ok, Not the Best Quality
The chair assembled easily. It was reasonably priced, considering the others I looked at that were rated for 500 lbs were much more expensive. However, I didn't feel that the chair itself was as comfortable as it should have been for the escalated price vs. a 250-lb. rated chair. It is very hard and uncomfortable. Safco could have compensated for the lack of give in the base by adding a little padding to the seat and back.

Too big
The reason I bought the chair is I'm a big person. I'm not a tall person. The chair was actually too deep for me to sit on comfortably and be able to touch the floor. They sell a shorter hydraulic pump, but I didn't want any added expense, so I returned the chair. Also, it wasn't the most comfortable chair. After just one day I could see where the foam was compressing in the seat. Wish I could find something else...

Disappointed
The transaction was quick on delivery. The chair worked well but it didn't last. The seat nearly fell off the hydraulic piston after 4 months of use. The manufacturer sent a replacement with no hassles, however, replacing the piston/seat assembly that was sent was quite a chore to remove and replace. After finally successfully removing and replacing the piston/chair assembly problems developed again. It appears to me that the hydraulic piston is not adequate for the rating of the chair. The stem on the piston doesn't fit the seat assembly correctly, there is too much play where the seat assembly and piston contact. I plan to contact the manufacturer again. Perhaps this time I will receive satisfaction. This remains a challenge for the lifetime warranty by the manufacturer.
