I bought this for my fur grandbaby 7 month old Dorkie puppy. He a Dachshund and Yorkshire Terrier mix. My daughter and I have always had Dachshunds and know about their back issues. I have steps that he uses but likes to jump off of the 2nd and 3rd steps from the top. I saw this ramp and felt it would be perfect. Its steep and he comes up it without issues most of the time. Sometimes it takes extra effort for him to get up. He normally slides down due to the steepness. There is also a large gap between the top of the ramp and couch My only complaints are the steepness and large gap instead of it meeting up with the couch.
