It's a beautiful coffee table but it was brutally difficult to put together, and I have put together a ton of furniture. The drawers were especially difficult because there were no pre-drilled holes so trying to extrapolate placement from the installation instructions was difficult. I had to use my own drill kit to pre-drill a hole and make sure the drawer was appropriately placed. If I didn't have experience doing this or my own tools, I think this would have been a failed effort. The instructions…How do I put this? The instructions were TERRIBLE. They were very difficult to read with tiny pictures showing how the screws or fasteners are installed. The instructions also did a terrible job of clarifying which installation screws went where. Again, I have my own tools and a supply of screws, so I ended up using a couple of my own, at times. For the parts requiring an Allen wrench, I used a socket driver. otherwise, I would have lost my mind trying to get some of those screws in. Further, it was hard to keep track of what needed to be done in the instructions. They were very poorly put together. What was nice is that the wood parts were properly marked. One thing they got right, though, The saving grace of this table is that it does look nice when put together. Additionally, the wood is dense and of a high quality. The retro look is also very cool. So, if you are patient, good at putting things together, have your own tools, and can extrapolate badly written instructions, then I would recommend this table. The payoff is nice in that the table looks very cool. However, if you are not any of the aforementioned, I would get something else.
