Best buy for a reliable accurate mouse

I got this mouse in-store for this price, but oddly it was the more expensive gray and black one instead of the all black one shown here for $9.97, model # is the same M100 on both - no matter I would buy either color as its about the best mouse ive ever had and didn't have to pay stupid money for. In fact its better than two other M----soft mice I paid notably more for - I will soon be buying another one for my other computer, because it seems soon as you find a good product you like it always gets pulled off the shelves soon after you buy one. Ive also had it with cordless mice, they all take batteries, glitch out early or just don't work right at some point. This optical wired mouse is affordable, has a decent cord, is stone solid reliable and as long as I keep getting this kind of performance at this price Logitech is all I will buy from now on - I have a drawer full of mice that "sort of' work I keep as backups, but now im considering tossing them all and buying two or three more of these M100's -- I highly recommend this as a reliable accurate basic mouse.

    Mouse Goes to Bootcamp

I installed Windows 10, thru Bootcamp for Mac OS X. Those of you that have also done this have found the trackpad to be a limitation. Having reacquainted myself with Microsoft Visual Studio Suite, I found it VERY necessary to bring back the mouse. The Logitech Corded Mouse M100r, which is branded to work with Windows, Mac, or Linux, installed and worked flawlessly with Windows 10, in Bootcamp. On the box, the system requirements are for: (read as "copyright Windows") Windows XP Windows Vista WIndows 7 or Windows 8 Mac OS X 10.5 or later (read "copyright Mac OS") My configuration is: MacOs Sierra Version 10.12.2 MacBook Pro (Retina 15 inch Early 2013) 2.7 Ghz Intel Core i7 Plugging the mouse into an available USB port, on a Mac Book Pro, with Ivy Bridge, worked right out of the box. Left click, Right click, and scroll are fully supported, as expected. Fully corded, with the following text imprinted on the mouse bottom: "3D Optical Mouse, Rating 5V 100ma" Good mouse. Great value.

Both highest quality and cheapest mouse.

I can't recommend the Logitech Corded Mouse M100 enough. It is the cheapest mouse in my local Walmart store. It only cost $10.96. This mouse is the highest quality mouse I have ever used. It offers perfect, precise control out of the box, while my three five year old Microsoft mouses struggle to move the cursor. This mouse is the best, there are no quality alternatives.

    Very pleased ....

I love my iMac ... but really dislike the wireless mouse that came with it .... it works great ... until it loses connection .... I enjoy using it .... until I have to frequently replace the batteries .... So I just decided enough of this and bought the Logitech at at ridiculously low Walmart sale price online .... it works great so far .... I'm not sure how confident I am that the scroll wheel will continue working as it is ... but until it doesn't I'm so happy to not be replacing batteries every few weeks ... the Logitech M100 is quite responsive, works fine and is cheap enough to get another when it doesn't .... thanks Walmart for the low price that allowed me to give this wired mouse a shot without much worry... so far so good ....

    LET ME HELP

ALLOW ME TO CLEAR THE CONFUSION. I BOUGHT THE M100 AND IT WORKS LIKE IT IS REPRESENTED. IN ORDER TO ACTIVATE THE TILT FEATURE YOU NEED TO SLIGHTLY PRESS DOWN ON THE "SCROLL WHEEL" UNTIL IT CLICKS. THEN YOU WILL SEE THE SMALL FOUR ARROWS NEXT TO THE CURSER. MOVE YOUR MOUSE NORTH,SOUTH,EAST OR WEST AND VOILE', THE TILT FUNCTION.. THE M 100 IS A FULL SIZE MOUSE. THE CENTER SCROLL IS NOT SMOOTH BUT IT WORKS FINE. THE BRIGHT RED LED LASER LITE BELOW WORKS ON ANY SURFACE WITHOUT JUMPING OR SKIPPING. THE USB CORD IS THICK AND DOES NOT RETRACT. ** Just plug it in and it works.** P.S. SAVE MONEY- BUY ONLINE AND SHIP TO STORE FOR FREE .. I PAID $9.82 AT A FLORIDA WALMART STORE. *** ADVERTISED ONLINE FOR $7.82. (TWO BUCKS)

    3 year warranty

I purchased this mouse because of price, 3 year warranty, and being ambidextrous. I got it, plugged it in and have been using it ever since. So far so good, no complaints.
It works as I expected it to. I only use Logitech mouse's easy to install and use.

    corded mouse

fits contour of the hand perfectly

    Finally, a good mouse

Unfortunately, a good wired mouse has become difficult to find these days. Everybody seems to want and want to sell you a wireless mouse. Sure, I get that a wireless mouse is advantageous for laptop use and in those instances they make sense. But, for desktop use...why mess with potential wireless and battery issues and unnecessarily cramp up your hand trying to hold a mouse which is just too darn small. News Flash: A wireless mouse will NEVER be as reliable as a wired mouse and will almost always be made for small hands. Those of us with larger hands NEED a larger mouse, plus I DON'T want to have to replace batteries at the most inopportune time. This mouse is comfortable and works well. Could be a little more substantial and beefier but for under $10 it's a fantastic buy for a basic full size mouse.

    Very good wired mouse

The mouse works well and is accurate for office use. It fits well in my hand and I can rest my fingers on the mouse without getting false clicks. My mouse is gray instead of black (as shown on the web site) but that is not an issue for me. The left, right and wheel clicks are louder than the OEM mouse that it replaced, but I like the audio feedback. For my use, I was very pleased that the M100 mouse wheel can be programmed by using software downloaded from Logitech. (BTW, the B100 mouse cannot be programmed.) I would buy this mouse again in the future, but I expect that this mouse will last for many years.
