I bought these because I am having a surgery and after I won't be able to bend over. I wanted to get used to using them and they are so easy to use. I dropped something behind my desk and instead of the usual crawling on the floor, I used one of these and it worked so well. The grip held on to the piece of paper. I have used it to pick up dog toys, my mouse when I drop it and it is so easy to use , just pull the leaver and the grip closes. I really think after using it I would recommend any senior to have them in the house not just people like me recovering from back surgery
