Performance of the material is not affected by these variations. All stone and ceramic surfaces can be damaged by force or by sudden and & or rapid change of temperature. Bellaterra Homes counter tops are pre-sealed and polished for added protection during manufacturing. However it is not permanent. Re-sealing the top before using is required to ensure proper protection.
