Sea-Doo 580 650 MPEM CDI Module
This MPEM CDI module replaces Sea-Doo OEM 278000070, 278000200, and 278000262. These part numbers are interchangeable through a supersession chain. The MPEM (Microprocessor Power Electronics Module) controls ignition timing and spark delivery for the Rotax 587 (580cc) and Rotax 657 (650cc) 2-cylinder 2-stroke engines producing 50-80 HP. When the MPEM fails, symptoms include no spark, intermittent start, or no-start. Fits GTS, GTX, SP, SPI, XP, and SPX models from 1992-1994. Direct plug-in replacement.
