The shade is not clear

Rather than clear, as stated and expected, the shade is a smoke gray. Very disappointed when we unwrapped the shades to install on the already mounted base. We will be returning the fixture and looking for something similar with a truly clear glass shade. If you want that 60s look, this may work. The style is very nice and can be mounted facing up or down.
