My 2 year old is a little tall for his age, but very active. He climbs everything! We purchased this bicycle for his 2nd birthday and he absolutely loves it! His feet reach the pedals and after we adjusted the front bar he started trying to ride it on his own. He loves it!

Bad choice of bike
I liked the design but that's all. When we got the bike it seemed great but it all together. But than it was to small for my son. Than the following day the peddles fell off and will not stay on.

Wonderful first bicycle!

My 2 year old is a little tall for his age, but very active. He climbs everything! We purchased this bicycle for his 2nd birthday and he absolutely loves it! His feet reach the pedals and after we adjusted the front bar he started trying to ride it on his own. He loves it!

Love it

We purchased this for my sons 2nd Birthday and he gets on it himself, fits perfectly and can peddle by himself. I would defiantly recommend it.

Great bike for boys!

I love this bike! My brother got one for my son, and I bought one for my nephew.

Awesome bike! Just like Daddy's!

My 20 month old loves his "motor bikey". My husband has a Yamaha 426 and this little bike looks just like his! My son loves that! This bike is really well made and will hopefully last him for a very long time. It is too big for him right now but he still can get on and off of it alone and loves pushing it around. Like other reviewers have mentioned, the front fender cover does get kind of loose and can spin around but we just wired it better to the handle bars and it's fine. Overall a great bike, especially if your little one likes motorbikes!

To see the smile on his face priceless

The quickness of the delivery was far above my expectation.

1. No! My two year old fits perfectly on it and may even out grow it by next year. Since it is the BMX model the seat is not adjustable. There is a bigger mod3el that we purchased for our 4 year old last year that was perfect at the time, but he is now too big. Love the bike! just be prepared to buy another one shortly due to it not having the adjustable seat.

2. I think its small for a 4 year old...My son just turned three and it fits him perfectly (he's 37in)
by GabesSanta
3. I bought this for my two year old who is 34" tall, if your 4 year old is much taller I wouldn't recommend it because the seat seems to be unadjustable

4. 2-4 years should probably use a small tricycle much like the nostalgic red ones. These will help the child become familiar with pedaling a bike as well as steering. 3-5 years should progress to a 12 inch bike once he/she has mastered the tricycle. These bikes usually come with training wheels that can be removed for the next stage. 4-6 years may be ready for a bike that is 14 inches depending on the size of your kid. However, training wheels usually don't come with this size. I recommend the training wheels for a four year old so that the child can become comfortable with the bike he/she will learn to ride without the training wheels. This will make for a much smoother transition because a child this young may associate a new bike without training wheels as too hard and may become too afraid to try a regular bike until a little later in life.

5. I bought this for my 4 year old grandson who is of average size. The bike is entirely too tiny! Now I have to exchange it.
by Kathyfrith1953
6. I would say it's too small. But depending on the child's height it could be okay. It's a perfect size for my 2 yr. old but too small for my 4 yr. old..
by jopal
7. This bike is best for 2/3 year old 4 year olds would be better with a 16" bike. Unless your child is very small for 4.
by flirtypup
8. Definitely No!
by Anangrybuyer
9. My son is 3 1/2 and about 41 inches tall and it fits him perfect. Since the seat doesn't adjust we may only get 1 yr out of it but I wanted him to be able to get on and off on his own plus for the price and how cool it is, it's worth it. If your child is taller there is a red 16" version available.

10. my son is 3 and he fits perfect, so I can bet a 4 year old would fit perfect also. :)

11. the seat doesnt move up or down if he is really tall it wouldnt work but if hes average height it should be fine
