Great movie for Marvel buffs

"Thor: The Dark World" is an excellent movie overall. A little slow in the beginning but it is needed to set and bring the non-fan up to par on what is happening. I, personally, watched the first Thor and then "The Avengers" DVDs so I could maintain the continuity of the character. Being female I felt that there should have been a little more romance between Thor and Jane Foster but I am sure there will be a sequel in the future where, hopefully, that happens. Overall an excellent movie...I used to buy the Marvel comics when I was very young (in the 1960's) and my favorites were Spiderman and Thor. Movies have just made the characters more believable and more human.
