BACKFLOW PREVENTION: The Watts Dual Check Valve Backflow Preventer is designed to prevent the reverse flow of water i.e. carbon dioxide gas and carbonated water from entering your potable water supply due to backpressure.
FOR BEVERAGE MACHINE: Capable of handling continuous or intermittent pressure applications, this backflow preventer is designed for carbonated beverage machines and is specifically ideal for use on post-mix carbonated beverage equipment and dispensing equipment for tea and coffee.
COMPREHENSIVE FEATURES: Equipped with internal rubber components, this 3/8" backflow preventer includes an atmospheric port that provides visual indication of failure of the second check, as well as a wye strainer. It also has female NPT inlet x SAE male flare outlet connections and can be installed either vertically or horizontally.
DURABLE DESIGN: This preventer is constructed from stainless steel for corrosion resistance and durability. It has a maximum temperature of 130 F 54 C and can handle a maximum pressure of 150 psi 10.3 bar.
