These lights are absolutely fantastic and could be used in multiple ways. Upon opening the lights and removing them from the packaging, remember you have to remove the black plastic housing piece by turning it to the "unlock" position and remove the plastic tab from the batteries. Once you've removed the plastic tab, then replace the black plastic bottom, put it back on the lock position and make sure that the power button on the black housing is positioned over the power button on the light. The light will not function until you've removed the battery tab. The light function is simple. The power button depresses easily with one push causing it to come on as a solid light, second push causing it to blink and a third push turning it off. It's a soft button and again, very easy to push, so it's great if you need to reach back or forward and push it one handed and also easy if a child needs to use it. The brightness is fantastic and easy to see from a long distance. These lights are great on a bike but also could be used to clip to your dogs leash or collar, to take along for a walk, anything done in the dark these lights will make you more visible to others and keep you safe. They'd be great if you use your bicycle for transportation and make you so much safer and for the price I wish more cyclists would use them. The battery life seems to be long and the batteries are inexpensive and small so easy to carry extra in a bike bag. Overall, huge thumbs up on these!
