Im 46 yo and terribly out of shape. I used to run cross country in high school. I was the middle of the pack kind of runner. I never won a medals or a trophys. That was a long time ago…but I always ran in Sauconys. Here I am 30 lbs heavier and Ive been reinspired to get back into shape again , one step at a time. When you have been away from running for a long time, it is a little painful to get back into it. However, this shoe has made it easier for me to do so. It's lightweight constructions and breathing able fabric keep my feet from heating up. The cushioning is fantastic as I feel like I'm running on a bouncy track. I like them so much that I use them at work. I"m a healthcare worker and spend 12 hours on my feet per shift. If you're a regular joe who is trying to get back into running after a long hiatus, this is the shoe for you. Great job Saucony.

Echelon 8 are great!

This is my second pair of Saucony shoes. I wear orthotics and it has been very difficult to find casual walking /running shoes that don't end up hurting my feet, but these fit the bill. They are stable, comfortable, and attractive. I'm quite happy with my purchase.
