Needed to replace front driver's hub assembly to a 2004 GMC Sierra truck- again - ( the prior one from 1A Auto we did not use anti-seize on it and should have. We are also missing the dust cover and that is probably what shortened its life on our dirt roads. Harder than ever to get the old one off!!! Took 4 days of banging, wedging and finally cutting the spindles off and drove bolts through to release the thing.) The new assembly went on great (used spray anti seize this time) and since no one carries a dust cover cap any more for this year truck, we put on some shiny sticky furnace tape over it to help eek out a bit more life on this one, hopefully.The order took a bit longer to ship than we got the estimate for... we ordered on a Sunday, shipped out on a TUESDAY... so the 'estimated arrival of Wednesday' was off... and we even splurged for the '2 day faster shipping' via UPS to get our only truck up and running again asap. Still arrived on Thursday WITH the upgraded shipping. Sheesh.
