it is thick, but it does its job and help remove the itchy irritation feeling from my childs eczema. she doesnt scratch herself as much anymore and the patches of redness have gone away after 4 days of use. mind you the occasional heat rash or sweaty afternoon causes flare ups, but a quick shower gollowed by applying lotion will do the trick.
