Pumpkin Pie by The Pioneer Woman
As traditional and quintessentially “Thanksgiving” as pumpkin pie is, I have to admit that it doesn’t generally compel me to eat it. Next to the tart fruitiness of apple pie and the heavy goodness of pecan pie, it’s easy for me to walk right past the pumpkin version and never think twice. So when I force myself to make a pumpkin pie, it had better be gosh darn good—good enough to compel me to take a walk on the pumpkin side of life. This beautiful baby is smooth, sweet, and definitely something special!
