When an item is out of stock, we can substitute it for a similar item. Here is what you can do to make sure we get you the right substitution.
Confirm the items you do not want us to substitute. We'll remove it from your order, and you will not be charged.
Before you arrive at the store
- We'll send you an email if any items are substituted. If you do not want the substitution, simply let the Associate at the store know, and they will remove it from your order.
- If it's a delivery order, the driver cannot remove the item from your order. Instead, follow the steps to get a refund.
When you get home
Set up up a return or a refund using from Account on the Walmart app or website.
