I was very disappointed but relieved I only ordered one piece of jewelry from this company/seller to see the quality first instead of several pieces as I originally wanted to. I received the 18”necklace stamped 925 with a lobster claw clasp but it was not sterling silver. It was very shiny but a different silver color than all my other sterling silver jewelry. A magnet picked it up so I took it to my jewelry store and it was confirmed that it was not sterling silver even though it was stamped 925. She thought it might be silver plated, but had never seen that shiny color silver before but was sure it would permanently tarnish quickly. I’m curious if all of their jewelry is like this because I wouldn’t think Walmart would associated with unscrupulous sellers that stamp fake silver with a 925 mark to deceive buyers. My jeweler says that’s exactly what this is and it happens all the time when you order online. I thought I was safe ordering online with Walmart. Walmart has issued my return code, which I appreciate, and I will be taking it back to my local store rather than shipping it back.
