... However, it's not the best, I'll admit. Before purchasing this game, I thought I'd do a bit of review "research" to see the ratings. Surprisingly, quite a few websites gave this game pretty low ratings. However, being a pretty fair Silent Hill fan (since SH2), I went ahead and BOUGHT it. Yes, I risked wasting close to $60 for a poorly-rated game. Risky move? Definitely. A regret? Absolutely not! Now, some of the overall game-play is a bit surprising.. The major downfall being low frame-rates at times, making you think your console is about to eat dirt. Luckily, these drops in frame-rates are far and in between and shouldn't ruin your overall run-through of the game. In traditional Silent Hill fashion, you've got your introduction to the characters when "needed." It's also more "free-roam" as mentioned instead of having to go from point "A" to point "B" immediately. You have a little bit more feel of "freedom" this time around, and side-quests (which are mostly optional.. though some reward you nicely) to keep you occupied. Besides that, there's some "Easter Eggs" to be found as well. If you've been a fan for a while, you won't be disappointed with new monsters, puzzles, areas, etc..! If you're still hesitant, at least go and rent it! If you're a huge fan/collector, go buy it!
Ok I bought this game to see was it was about. Well, i guess i fouund out. As soon as I opened the box I found a broken microphone. So i hated myexperience with this game.
