This item was received damaged. A big chunk of it was damaged upon receipt. Tried taking it back to our local Walmart store with no success. No one at the local store knew how to do a return for a purchase from Walmart.com, We then tried contacting the manufacture for a replacement piece and was told they would send it but they never did. So we kept the product. In the 4 weeks that we had the product it was getting ding up with any contact with the other chairs. We attempted to return to the local Walmart again and got lucky. There was an employee that did know how to process a Wlmart.com return. Thank You Bonnie.
One of the chairs was received damaged. Unsuccess with local Walmart, Walmart.com and manufacture Whalen with getting replacement. We had these chairs less than a month and each day they were getting more and more damaged. We were afraid to even use the chairs. If the chairs touched each other they would wear down and one of the chairs started cracking. After less than 4 weeks we had to return chairs for a refund.
I ordered this stand even though I just bought the 55 inch LG led that was on sale on black friday and this recommends 47. I probably didn't have the issue since the tv was pretty light. It looks really good and has nice cable management features. Setup was pretty straight forward, every part is numbered and the quantity you will need for each step. I think you get your moneys worth for this only being $100. Uploaded picture of my setup if anyone was curious what a bigger sized tv would look like on it. Still waiting on my center speaker to arrive, it's pretty close to the ideal height for head level.
This product looks really nice once it is assembled. Great value for the money. The only thing that needs improvement is the assembly instructions and hardware packing. They were confusing and not clear to follow.
a bear to put together, but nice with the glass top. Lots of small parts, took two hours, but with the tv on it, looks great. Says up to 56 inches, but check the weight too. Our 55\" is perfect for it. The two drawers at the bottom are roomy and nice hardware.
We put together this unit in about 2 hours and we could not be happier. At least for our needs this is perfect. We will be mounting a 60 inch Samsung plasma on the mount. This all went together very nicely without any problems at all, not even the drawers were a problem. It appears to be extremely sturdy so I'm confident it will easily carry the weight of the tv as it is only 65 lbs. We needed a stand that would allow us to set the center channel speaker on a shelf and this is one of the few stands that would allow that and have the look we were looking for. I would give this product a 6 star rating if I could.
I really like the way this stand looks and it is very sturdy. However, the top & both doors were defective. (Make sure you take sticker off top before putting together to see if it takes off the finish) When I called Whalen they were very nice and helpful. They sent replacement parts with no hassle - I didn't have to take\/send back parts. Unfortunately, the replacement parts were also defective and I am expected to switch out the hinges and other hardware myself. I'm currently awaiting more parts. It is pretty hard to put together.
I'm sure I would have something positive to say; However, I ordered my dining set on the 3rd. I am still waiting for it to arrive, and it is now the 24th. The status shows that it has been sitting in a service center, less than 3 hours away from my home, for over a week now. I am also unable to cancel the order and get my money back because it is \"in transit.\" Would love to get my money back and shop elsewhere. Walmart... PLEASE DELIVER MY FRIGGIN PRODUCT ALREADY!!! AND IN CASE YOU ARE WONDERING, I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM YOU AGAIN.
I was a bit worried when I ordered this stand as the picture wasn't the best to go by, but when I finished setting it up I was in WOW. It is very nice looking and has multiple ways to set it up. It is very solid and I really like the wood accent as well as the swivel mount for the TV. Also it should be able to handle a 70\" TV as long as it isn't a Plasma screen, which would exceed the weight allowance, that is the real limiting factor with this stand.\n\nThis stand comes in a large box around 6ft.L x 2ft.W x 8in.H and is very heavy due to the thick tempered glass so you'll need two people and a large vehicle to get this puppy home.\n\nThis was a breeze to build and you have all the hardware and tools you need in the box. The instructions are some of the best I've used in a long time even with the 3 different ways to build it. Because the weight is in the glass you can build the stand and move it easily without the glass which you'll want to handle one at a time. They even give you a markup pen to fix any scratches or blemishes you may have, I didn't have to use it for mine. If you use the stand to hold your TV it is really slick as you can setup the mount and it just drops into the stand secured by a simple locking rod behind the TV, very easy and quick to place or remove.\n\nI'm probably going to get one or two more for the rest of my family with Christmas coming, love this stand.
