The picture and sound quality is great. I hung this on the wall and I was surprised at how light it is. I was even more surprised that this thing uses less then half the power my old 52\" Plasma used. The Wi-Fi is really nice with a very good range.
Excellent TV, but the stand could have been made more stable and wider. Still OK. The picture is great and the framing arround the TV looks nice. I wanted to get this particular TV ASAP, because the LCD\/LEDs that they are making now (but not this one) look cheap and ridiculous, which hurts the entire appearance of the latest TVs. This LED M650VSE however, looks great because it has a frame around it. It's unfortunate, that the companies are not making them like this anymore, as they are phasing out the better looking ones (like this one).\n\n\"G\"
I had just donated my Samsung 58\" plasma TV to my wife's church, I bought the Plasma TV about 3 years ago at a cost of over $2000, I must say it was beautiful but at the time of purchase I had no idea how much it cost to operate. The TV drew 670 watts of power and I had to worry about using it with the computer due to burning the screen with a stationary display, as a result the TV just set in the living room unused. Now I would not even consider a plasma TV. THIS 60\" VIZIO TV is great. Low power consumption at 200 watts, great picture, I don't really have to worry about screen burn, the possibility is there but very distant, it would take a very long time to burn the screen of a LCD TV, and this TV cost under $1000. This is a LED\/LCD TV, being LED back lit in stead of florescent lights gives me total control of the picture quality and the TV has everything and more. I get tired of the same old programming on DISH so now along with Dish, I can watch all the free movies from my computer's online connection with out having to order premium programming like HBO. As with anything read the specification on this TV or any TV before you purchase then you can look at the manual online to decide what is right for you. The VIZIO TV came packaged with just enough information to get me rolling but the manual can be downloaded from VIZIO's web-sight. There are a lot of other good things I could say about this TV but do some studying before you buy and see what TVs are performing and cost effective for you.
I was given the thumbs up to get a new HDTV after our Sony 55\" projection tv gave out a week ago. Initially my search ended on the LG 55\" 3D HDTV, but my wife mentioned that 3D made her feel queezy, and frankly I don't want to watch tv with glasses on my nose. So, I asked the store associate if he had any 55\" LED's in stock. Initially, the Samsung and LG were the one's he mentioned (they were not on display). But the price tags came in at $1100+ and $930+ respectively. I pulled up the prices on walmart.com, and said that they sounded hefty based on my research.\n\nI ended up asking if there were any Vizio's in stock. He came back and said he had this one - just came in. The price was right and there were enough good reviews that I took the leap of faith (well sort of, I also purchased the 3yr svc plan @ $89.00) The base was easy enough to install on my padded dining room table. I also purchased the 40\" soundbar with wireless subwoofer as the slimline profile made me think the speakers would not be sufficient. I didn't regret this decision after watching the trainwreck from The Fugitive. Great sound! Used variable output from the TV and disabled the factory speakers. Fam was asleep when I turned it back to fixed output as playing around. Whoa!!! Don't do this, it will make your ears bleed... sound was clear though.\n\nBack to the TV. My initial programming was coming from CBS on the Masters, and I was concerned about the milky picture. The cure to this is to change the Video to \"Game\" setting and adjust from there. Picture became crystal clear on 720 and 1080 broadcasts from DirecTV. Awesome for the price. Enjoy!
We purchased this the other day and setup was a snap (the tv is not heavy at all but the box is big). The price was great and the site to store turn around time was speedy. Once setup the tv looks sleek and the picture is unbelievable (almost too clear). The sound mimics a surround sound and the tv adjusts to perform according to your room layout and brightness. The only bad thing I could find was that the remote is lightweight and seems cheaply made but this is trivial and I would highly recommend this to anyone.
The Vizio 60\" tv was easy to install ... easy to connect to the internet ... and produces the best picture I have ever seen !\n\nThanks WalMart and Vizio !
Real value for your money; works flawlessly. Fits perfectly in your room. Full of all the things you will want in a TV and provides pure enjoyment day after day after day and some nights too! I just couldn't ask for more.....it has everything.
This is the second Vizio I own. I have a 60\" also. Both are GREART. The only problem I had with the 50\" was the picture quailit was very poor. I returned it to Walmart and the replacement works just a good as the 60\" Walmart was very easy to work with and put one aside fro me so when I went to pick it up there was no problem at all.

What our shoppers say:
fantastic TV
I purchased this TV because of the many possitive reviews.\nI looked at other Companies and saw this was the best Value for my money,I absolutly love this TV and the technologie.\nIt is also not to heavy to lift, because I am 71 yrs .young and have nobody to help me with setting it up.\nI specially likes the auto set up,it find it self the connection.\nAll together I would higly recommend this TV.
The Tv has a very good picture. The remote control is flimsy at best had a mind of its own. Called Vizio support. They sent me a new one, which is more responsive. If you don't have a lot of money , but want a nice size flat screen TV look into this one.
After 2 other TV's(Elements) I finally got one that works!! I paid more but it was worth it ,I have Vizio plasma that has been great for 3-4 yrs and a beautiful picture just like the new one! Colors is great!
We had the old bubble back tv still and it was starting to turn pink so we knew it was time for a new tv and we were so excited to get a flatscreen finally, we went to our local walmart and they had this tv marked down to 490.00 wow what a deal. And we decided to buy the extended 3 yr warranty for the extra 44.00 (just in case) even covers normal wear and tear. We are very happy with our new Vizio TV. And we have had a bubble back for so long, that this is like being at the theatre. Thank you Walmart.
Although I did not buy a $1000-$2000 T.V. , I did research the products and brands within my price range and I must say All in all this T.V. is an awesome product with all the bells and whistles that you want now and features that will keep you excited about Television in the coming future. I highly recommend this T.V. and Brand to any and all that are looking for state of the art technology whilst working on a budget. The only down side is that I wish the remote was less \"clicky\" and maybe have a slide out \"Qwerty\" keyboard for an easier web-app entry, and that also the internal programming was in the \"Qwerty\" format also. Overall I'd rate this at a 4.75 out of 5 stars. C.X. Londonderry, N.H.
