In a fun house like this the elaborate tortures seem to leave behind the real world of pain and suffering for the realm of slapstick; they're the kind of horrors that make you scream and laugh at the same time.
This macabre follow-up to 2004's low-budget horror smash can't rival its predecessor's fiendish ingenuity. But it makes up for it with a deliciously devious plot and enough gory shocks for a dozen Halloweens.
I've seen all the Saw movies (and own them all)except Saw 7. I'm watching Saw 6 right now, and let me tell you it's gotta be my favorite. If you're a Saw fan, I think you'll understand when you see it. Mr. Easton. . sorry to say, he deserved all of that. . . I'm so enjoying this movie right now, and I had to put it on pause just to write my review. I read the reviews from Saw fans and I have to say a personal thank you, because they were right. Saw 6 is a great addition to my collection and trust me, it will be the most-watched.
My review in a nutshell: If you have any doubts about this being a lame sequel, forget about it. .this is one of the better ones!!!!!
The \"Saw\" franchise is really one of the few entire franchises that my generation (1986) has witnessed. And \"Saw: The Final Chapter\" is a great way to end it!\n\nWhile the DVD itself isn't loaded with extras (hence the 4\/5 rating), it's still a wonderful movie. I experienced no problems with the DVD itself, either.\n\nI would recommend this DVD to anyone who loves the \"Saw\" series of movies, or anyone who likes horror\/suspense\/thriller movies in general!
First of all this 3-D movie needs a 3-D TV . I was not happy that that was NOT made clear. I opened the movie expecting paper 3-D glasses and there were none to be found. That aside, the movie was just plain bad, and I do mean bad. Nothing to enjoy 3-D or not.
The Saw series is awesome and I wasn't dissapointed with this movie BUT you have to watch all the Saws before you watch Saw 5 or else you won't understand the story line. Other than that its a Great Movie and Im just wondering if there will be a Saw VI.
The reports of torture porn's demise may have been greatly exaggerated, but this fourth entry in the mutilate-yourself-or-die series joins what may be the worst genre of the decade: the lamely ''sympathetic'' serial-killer backstory.
To truly understand Saw you have to have seen the first 3. If you don't you will be confused and not understand a bit of the storyline. I love the Saw series but I don't know how the producers come up with the torture devices They are just Sick and Awesome! Can't wait for the 5th to become available. I would recommend this movie to all Saw fans.
