Bought this as a gift for a 12 year old who was having a gaming party for his birthday and even he was insulted at how simplified and boring this game is compared to the last one.\n\nWe went and traded it and got Mario Party 8 again.
I grew up playing Super Mario 64 on the Nintendo 64, it's one of the first game i ever played. It still holds up against new games even though the original was made in the late 90's. it really is a must play for every one and if you haven't played it before you really should try it. However i want to buy the DS version for my girlfriend as a birthday present but I'm having a hard time justifying having to spend $23's on an almost 10 year old game that was just a remake of an even older classic.
It's a very fun addictive game to play with your little sister specially if you wager on it. It's a great game for your sibling if they've earned it. The one thing I disliked is that Walmart online price is cheaper than at store even cheaper than game spots used games. Overall love the game and now glad that I made my little sister happy after showing her that with hard school dedication deserves a reward.
I have a 5 year old grand son who is addicted to anything Mario. He can figure out how to play the game, this one how ever has alot of cartoon writing telling you what to do, which he can't read yet so that has bothered him, when playing the game. He told me \"he knows what to do, he does not have to read it \" .
