I DIDN'T KEEP THIS VACUM, I DIDN'T KNOW MY HUSBAND HAD ALLREADY BOUGHT ME THE SHARK ROTATOR VACUM FOR CHRISTMAS. **THE ROTATOR VACUM DOES AN INCREDIBLE,ALMOST UNBELEIVABLE JOB OF CLEANING...THESE ARE REALLY GREAT VACUMS...
The only problem I've found so far with this vacuum is that it works so well, it fills the container up really quick. We vacuumed an oriental rug with our old vacuum, then used the Shark and filled the cup up twice. It's great at getting pet hair out of everything. Works well on hardwood floors - no height adjustment needed. Upholstery brush is powered by the suction and works great, too. It has a mechanism that won't allow the belt to break if you suck up the end of the rug, shoelace, etc. It's also feels light and maneuverable and wants to go forward on its own on carpet. I think the build quality is good and the price is great. Definitely recommend. If you think dumping the cup often is a pain, opt for the pro model with bigger container, but this thing is going to fill that one up quick as well.
I've had this model of iron for a couple of years now and use it occasionally. I've never liked this iron, the steam has never worked consistently and upon my most recent trial, I find that water leaks from the bottom. Not what I expected from this iron.
I've used this hand held steam cleaner for three days now cleaning a lot of different things and I have to admit it does clean very well. Especially windows! The shower took a bit longer then I thought but it did work well. I forsee myself cleaning in a whole new way now that I've discovered steam cleaning. This Shark Portable Steam Pocket steam cleaner is like trying ice cream for the first time, you immediately know you love it, yet you haven't really tasted your favorite flavor yet!
I purchased this at my local Walmart online for store pickup. When I picked it up the box had been opened, I was concerned about this and had the clerk open it to make sure all the pieces were in the box. They all seemed to be there, however when I tried to use it I nearly scalded my hand due to a defective part which I suspect was a returned machine by a previous customer. Having a handy husband, he took the hose section apart finding a broken steam nozzle where it is connected to the hose. I got online found the part on the Shark site. I am expecting it any day. This could have been very dangerous if someone not familiar with a steamer had picked this up. I do not blame Shark, but I do blame Walmart for the resale of an item that had not been checked out after it's return. I can not fairly rate the steamer yet as I am waiting on my part.
I bought this to do my stairs as my huge vacuum has made one too many unexpected \"trips\" back down those steps! Unfortunately this vacuum failed to even provide adequate suction to even suck up dust bunnies! Totally frustrated with it and it is going back pronto!!!
After 6 mos. the iron stopped working. I was advised by warrantee dept. to send it back to them at MY expense and include return postage also. This totals approx. $ 25.00...I advised that I only paid $28.00 for it originally, so that makes your warrantee policy virtually useless. She responded \"yeah, I guess so.\"...Stay away from this outfit...
After an experience with a weak iron, I decided I needed a quality product that can help not only to iron but steam. I work in a business environment and usually dry clean many items. I decided I needed an alternative as this was getting impractical on a weekly basis. I was able to steam work pants and delicate blouses. It does a good job at releasing steam in powerful modes when holding the steamer button as well as VERY EASY to use. It has an instruction booklet that is very user friendly. I am considering buying as a gift. I was able to get wrinkles out. The steaming on the device is of good force.
