What do you expect?? They are $6 a piece. I bought a dozen of them to take a bunch of the youth group fishing, put them on retired rods. Worked fine for what we were doing, even landed a 5lbs. catfish. Used them for several outings, when they mess up, throw them away. Still have some of the originals actually, just replaced the broken ones with the same model. When they get lost overboard or broken, no need to worry. Keep the cost in mind when considering performance, it's not a Curado.
I bought this rod and I'm very happy with its performance and durability. I fish PCBeach,fl pier at pier park on a weekly basis. Catching Spanish mackerel up to 6lbs, blue fish, red fish , and pompano. It holds up under tough conditions. A Mitchell advocet2 with 10lb test. Performs well on this rod. Long casting ability. Able to reel fish straight up from water 30'. You can't go wrong with this rod for price.
