I bought this movie on pre-sale and as soon as it came out it was shipped to me with in days way before the estimated arrival date so I was very happy with the outcome and will do this again in the future for any pre-releases.
I bought this movie because of all the reviews that my freinds had given me. I bought it for Christmas and watched it that night with my family. We did not like it didn't find it funny. We actually gave up on it about half way. Jack Black as usual has his crude humur, but uses this in a kids movie.
Bought this movie after seeing it for myself and liking it. I purchased this for a 4 year old girl who loved it and has watched it many times since getting it. Teaches great lessons while entertaining.
I bought this this past Christmas specifically looking for the included digital copy only to find it is expired! No warning, no nothing from Walmart. This makes me angry. I planned to put this on my special needs child's iPad for hospital and medical trips. Now I can't. And guess what? Since it's opened I can't return it. RIPOFF.
I was not fortunate enough to see this movie at the theater, but I made up for it by watching in my home theater. The 3D effects combined with the surround sound was fantastic. Walmart provides a great value with all three versions of the film for one great price!
This Freaks And Geeks Complete Serieis DVD Set has bypassed my expectations. Excellent quality, all 18 episodes, extras, small pamphlet with pics and descriptions of each episode, etc. A must have for F & G fans to keep the show alive in our hearts! No regrets buying this and I highly recommend it. Well worth the money!
The film has some serious problems, the first being - and yes, I feel ridiculous for even attributing this complaint to a film with the above title - a completely pat narrative that seriously lacks character development
Watching this without having got stoned first is like watching a 3D movie without the special glasses. There are a few moderate laughs (and a nice Jude Law gag) but the full-on gory violence is disconcerting and unfunny.
I have been looking for the movie theatre version of this movie for over a year. I do not want the Unrated version in my home. Finally, I found the PG-13 version on Walmart.com. It was a great price and arrived quickly. The movie speaks for itself- hilarious assuming you like this kind of humor.
Alright, this movie isn't the best movie that Adam Sandler starred in... Everyone did a great job acting in it though.\nIt's not really that funny... more depressing.\nIt's a movie that will make you think about your life and what you value and take for granted.
What makes the film so appealing is the disconnect between what comes from the mouths of these hormone-addled pups and what's going on in their heads, where they're still clinging desperately to the innocence they're leaving behind.
Buoyed by infectious high spirits and self-deprecating humour, the film works in strange and perhaps unintentional ways, thanks largely to the sustained energy of the lead actors, and writers Ernest Cline and Adam F. Goldberg.
This movie is good for a few laughs. Not the best, funny movie out there though.\nI love Justin Long's character. He was hilarious.\nThe movie is kind of predictable.\nYou may enjoy it. Give it a watch.\nNot for younger audiences though, so make sure no kids are around!!
