I needed a desk for my laptop and this is the perfect size and height. The look is really nice it looks like it has been in the family for years yet still looks great. It was simple to put together. I just wish it had drawer dividers for the top drawer that I could arrange anyway that would work for me. Other than that I really love it!!!
Purchased to replace an old computer desk. Took me about 3-1\/2 hours to put together. Instructions were clear and understandable. All my computer equipment and papers fit neatly in the shelves, with room to spare. Was missing one screw which I purchased at Lowe's and a minor scratch on bottom, which is in the back and not seen. Overall, am extremely pleased with product. Have purchased several Sauder pieces over the years and have not been disappointed to date.
Our versatile table by Canopy works as an end table or nightstand and has a cabinet and drawer to store just about anything.
What our shoppers say:
It's a really nice table, well made and pretty easy to put together. It arrived several days before they said it might and was wrapped well, protecting the wood. I use it as a bedside table and it's wonderful!
Picture looks great, I loved how it looked online. It came already broken with white paint broken on several parts! Put it together thinking no one would see that. Material is flimsy and terrible. I would not lay on it. It will probably not hold my child past the age of 5 especially no jumping on the bed. Also the way the mattress fits and sinks down did not allow me to properly install my child's safety bed rail guard. It'd be a pain to disassemble and return. But had I known better I would of never purchased!!
I read the other reviews and here's the straight info. If you have basic skills and a screw driver you're all set!! It's a breeze AS LONG AS YOU READ the INSTRUCTIONS. The product is AWESOME! Yes, its partical board, if your looking for wood good luck finding it at 69 bucks. This is the best looking BOARD I have ever seen. It's gorgeous, heavy and looks expensive. It's packed well and all the parts were there. (Worth mentioning these days)
I was very excited to purchase this desk as I have the matching file cabinet. I am very disappointed with this product. It is very difficult to put together. The pre-drilled holes do not match up with the adjoining pieces. The dowels that were supposed to hold the top down were not significant to hold the top on,when you screw them in the plastic strips from them.It took over 4 hrs to assemble it and it still is not fully assembled. The directions are not self explanatory, especially the drawers. When you tip the desk back up the top comes right off. For $150 and the endorsement of Better Homes and Gardens I expected far more quality and ease in assembling this product. I am very very disappointed with this product and in the process of contacting customer service. I would never refer this product to friends or family. It looks great on the outside but......
I read the reviews on this product before buying it and some of the comments were saying that it took about 3 hours to assemble but was very easy to do. I did NOT have that same experience at all. It comes with a million parts to put together and the instructions are not always easy to follow. On a good note, some of the steps have video footage you can watch online to actually see how to do it. It took me all day to assemble it and I just felt like it was labor intensive. Now for the good part. It really is a nice looking piece of furniture and the price is certainly right. It seems very sturdy and the drawers slide nicely. Overall, I'm really happy with it.....just be prepared to spend some time assembling it.

What our shoppers say:
This is a nice looking and very roomy, file cabinet.\n\nWe just put it together 3 days ago. We are not sure how durable it will be, we are not done transfering all the folders yet. Plus putting it together was quite a chore.
This unit takes a few hours to put together, but really looks great once completed. A couple recommendations that I'd give, is that once you have it mostly done, and you have to lift it and put it on it's face so that you can nail the backin' on, is that instead of settin'' it on it's face just let it stand in the upright position. You can move it enough to square the backin', and don't have to worry 'bout layin' it down and pickin' it back up. Also, when you lift it up from it's back have atleast two other people help you. One stand in the very center where he can lift up on the center of the bottom cabinet, and the other two on the sides and just have them to guide the center up, but not to put pressure on the sides so that it doesn' come apart at the top.\nOnce again, this unit looks great, and I'd recommend it to anyone.
The room my computer is in is quite small so space is very limited. This desk fits nicely in a corner. It has a place for almost everything so keeps things organized. The only drawback that I can find is it does not have a place for my large printer\/scanner or drawer to conceal pens, scissors and other working materials. I have a small bookshelf for these which is fine for me. Because it fits so well in the corner it does not block windows on either side. This is one of the reasons I love it so.
