Brings back lots of memories of my childhood\nEven though I'm only 31 we were a car enthusiastic\nFamily went to lots of car shows my dad owned one\nThat looks like The one that John Milner drove\nIn American Graffiti! Now My brother and I own\nMy dads 38 Chevy Coupe. If you have never\nSeen this movie and you love car movies\nYou will defenitly love this one! I bought the Blu\nRay version because it has more features\nThan the DVD I got this one for my brother\nFor his Christmas present this will be his 5th or so copy of\nThis film.
One of the great real life dramas. Three astronauts are shot off on a "routine" flight to the moon, but an explosion in space makes it doubtful they'll ever return. The courage, dedication, and teamwork brought to bear to save their lives is both suspenseful and inspiring. Transfer quality (especially on the Blu-Ray version) is excellent, and director Ron Howard's moviemaking innovations (like filming some scenes in a truly "weightless" environment) add to the experience. It's on my personal list of the 100 best movies of all time. The disc also includes a load of worthwhile extras. Highly recommended.
My heart grew ten sizes the day I watched this. A long time favorite. Good message with the memorable narration of Boris Karloff. We bought this for my wife to use in her classroom to teach about giving and sharing. It is a bonus that it is one of our favorite shows as well.
